When spending time with Kristy, it doesn’t take long to sense her authenticity. Genuine and sincere, her kindness shines through within moments of meeting her.
Spending her early years in both Nashville, Tennessee and St. Louis, Missouri, Kristy grew up considering both places home. With the encouragement of a lifelong friend, she eventually made the decision to make St. Louis her permanent address.
After earning a Business degree, Kristy spent the first part of her career working in customer service. As opportunities presented themselves in other corporate environments, her employers quickly began to recognize her abilities. Within a few short years, Kristy moved up the corporate ladder into positions of greater responsibility.
However, over time, marriage and a growing family caused Kristy to re-think her career direction. “Although I liked my work, it was becoming apparent that my long and inconsistent hours were creating difficulties. My husband works in law enforcement, and our schedules were impacting our family life.” said Kristy.
Though a transition into a property management position helped to address the family’s schedule, she soon found herself longing for the connection with her clients. As Kristy put it, “I missed helping people and being directly connected to them.”
Kristy decided that Real Estate would be her perfect platform. After acquiring a license, she began her search for the right broker and company. Through mutual friends, she connected with advisor Ashley Travers and owner of GHREA, Grant Hickman. As Kristy shared, “I liked their openness. Ashley and Grant’s desire to help me succeed was very sincere. This company felt like a family.”
