Easy going and determined is a great way to describe Kimberly. A native of St. Charles, Missouri, her quiet demeanor goes hand in hand with her gentle and good nature. Upon completing her education, Kimberly spent many years focusing her attention on raising a family while specializing in customer service within the retail industry.
Eventually looking for a new career path, Kimberly transitioned into the transportation field, spending eighteen years and eventually retiring as a well-respected and valued employee.
But Kimberly had a desire to expand her professional world. As she put it, “I have always been fascinated with real estate. With my children grown, this seemed like the perfect time to pursue a career that had interested me for so many years.”
Attaining her real estate license, Kimberly reached out to a long-time friend who had a great deal of experience working in this field. As her friend shared her insights about real estate and the company that she had joined, Kimberly’s interest grew.
A meeting was set up between Kimberly and Grant Hickman, owner of GHREA. After spending time together, Kimberly felt confident that this company was a good fit for her. “I liked the idea of a more personal brokerage. I felt that Grant and his team were more accessible and that learning and growing in this organization would be an enjoyable and successful experience,” said Kimberly.
As Kimberly shared, “I like helping and talking with people. I realize that buying or selling a home is a big decision for families and I enjoy working with people through the entire process.” Really understanding the emotion that can often accompany this experience, is one of Kimberly’s greatest gifts. As she puts it, her passion for helping people makes her “feel like I am part of their story.”
