An equestrian since the age of seven, Kelsey’s love for horses has evolved into a lifelong passion. A native of St. Louis, she majored in Business Administration with a minor in Equine Science.
Meeting her husband during her early career in Insurance Sales and Property Management, Kelsey’s job kept her on the move. Having previously acquired her Real Estate license, Kelsey’s marriage now prompted her to return to a career that she really enjoyed, and eliminate the travel.
As Kelsey puts it, “I’m strong-willed and determined.” These ideal characteristics which helped to make her early real estate career successful, were the same traits that told her it was time to make some changes.
After working a real estate transaction with Ashley Travers, one of the Team Leaders at GHREA, they soon became good friends. At Ashley’s suggestion, Kelsey decided to spend some time getting to know more about this company, which is owned by Grant Hickman. “I was impressed with Grant’s business model,” said Kelsey. “Their approach to business and training, along with Ashley’s warm and inviting leadership were the key that made my decision to join GHREA.”
One of the many things that appealed to Kelsey was the idea of focusing on her “Niche”. In Kelsey’s case, her focus and passion were for all things equestrian. She was excited to be able to work with meeting the needs of all families, but especially those that shared her love for horses. As Kelsey put it, “Helping these families find homes and properties that were just right for riding, housing and caring for horses was so exciting to me. I understand how much these precious animals mean to many families.”
A great addition to Ashley’s team and to GHREA, Kelsey’s heart for helping all families and serving those who share her equestrian passion, will make her a unique and outstanding advisor for those looking for just the right place to call home.
